Ultra Cool Brake Fans is a new innovative product that is designed to help racers in brake heat disbursement.  Their product has been race tested and has proven to keep brakes cooler on the track.  The brake fans fit securely within the wheel and are less likely to damage during on-track action.  This is the only product on the market that cools the wheel side of the caliper.  It pumps more CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) than conventional brake blowers.  It weighs less than conventional brake ducts and blowers.  The unique design allows the racer to double stack fans for added airflow and they make rotors and brake pads last longer. Kyle Benjamin wins Speedweeks. In this picture you can see Kyle's Ultra Cool Brake Fans kept his rotors cool!

While his accomplishments occurred on the half-mile New Smyrna Speedway, about 20 minutes away from Daytona, Kyle Benjamin’s breakout performance during the 46th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing has been another highlight in the long list of Speedweeks surprises.

With only one Super Late Model start to his credit before the nine-night World Series, Benjamin turned his experience-building effort at New Smyrna into a championship. He scored three-straight wins during Smyrna Speedweeks and never finished lower than sixth in his six races in eight nights to become the youngest Super Late Model Champion in the 46-year history of the New Smyrna World Series.

“We came down here for seat time for the Super Late Model to get ready for the Rattler (March 4th at South Alabama Speedway), but we ended up getting a lot more than seat time,” said Benjamin. “It was a great coming down here. It was a great choice by us to make the trip.

Another Nemechek on the horizon

The Nemecheks are Ultra Cool Brake Fan users!

When a race car driver can get Kyle Busch’s attention — particularly in a positive way — he’s really done something. When it’s a 14-year-old getting high props, it elevates the respect quotient even higher.

That was the case for John Hunter Nemechek last weekend as the son of Sprint Cup and Nationwide series owner/driver Joe Nemechek – in only his second start in a super late model car — held off eventual Speedfest winner Busch for more than 60 laps at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Ga.

Busch told young Nemechek “ur day isn’t too far away #staysmoothe” on his Twitter feed shortly after the race. Joe Nemechek, who works with his son on his car as much as his schedule allows, has been with John Hunter for his first two SLM events — the first of which came at New Smyrna Speedway in Samsula, Fla., about a half-hour south of Daytona International Speedway, earlier this year.

At January’s Daytona Sprint Cup test, the elder Nemechek smiled and said he enjoyed working with his son’s late model cars because teams were still able to twist, tweak and tune them, unlike current Sprint Cup cars, which NASCAR’s rules package keep in a pretty tight box “that you can’t do anything with,” the ever-creative Nemechek said.

The teenage Nemechek plans to race the 10-night SLM schedule during February’s World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna and his father plans to be there as much as his busy DIS schedule — where he’ll compete in both Cup and Nationwide cars — allows.
